- It seems that Junichi Tazawa will be a Red Sox. Because the Red Sox have to have everything go right for them.

- Peter Schmuck says the Orioles will have to change their organizational philosophy to sign AJ Burnett. Considering their philosophy seems to be to lose, changing it might not be a bad idea.
- The Canadian economy is leaving Ricciardi in a state of uncertainty. So is his starting rotation.
- The Royals' top 10 prospects are filled with the guys from the last draft. I agree with the author -- that either means they have nothing on the way or their draft was that good.
- The Tigers will pass on Tazawa because of the gentleman's agreement. If they really cared about the agreement, wouldn't they have not gone over and scouted him?
- Furcal visited Oakland yesterday, but it doesn't sound like anything's imminent.

- The Marlins' new stadium will open in 2012, just in time to save Maybin from being shipped off but too late for Andrew Miller, Dan Uggla, Jorge Cantu, Matt Lindstrom, Ricky Nolasco, Josh Johnson, Anibal Sanchez, and the Manatees.
- The Pirates signed the two Indian pitchers. Good, now the Pirates have more pitchers who won't make it to the majors.
