MLB Won't Reveal Amphetamine Data

I wonder what he thinks of this.

After originally saying they would release the aggregate data (essentially the bare numbers without names) on the number of players testing positive for amphetamines, the MLB has decided to not release the data. Granted, their excuse is that the CBA states they cannot release the information on first-time positives. So, if a guy tests postive but is the first time, they can't release anything about it, which makes sense. But are you really releasing anything if you just say how many? You aren't saying their names. Maybe the CBA specifically states that nothing can be shared. It also makes me wonder how many players tested positive. Wouldn't they want to release the numbers if it was low? You would also think they would have known that they should have mentioned at the beginning that they couldn't release all of it, but they probably didn't want to knowing that it would seem bad. "Okay, here's our findings and we promise more transparency, but we won't release the first-time positives." We wouldn't have liked it very much, and the process wouldn't have seemed very transparent.
