While I Was Away

Well, I'm back from Chicago and the long graduations. It was nice to see family I only get to see once in a while. Played lots of video games, some basketball (mainly HORSE), and watched two really long graduations. Anyway, while I was gone this happened:

The Braves still suck on the road (getting swept by the Reds ... oh my god).

Jay Bruce continues to show how dumb Dusty Baker is for starting him in Louisville.

John Smoltz blew a save and then his shoulder out (retirement? hopefully not).

Manny hit his 500th (then a couple more).

Joba sucked really hard.

Mark Teixeira and Jeff Franceour rediscovered their power strokes (Thank god).

Josh Hamilton continues to be a great story (just imagine what could have been).

Pedro, in his return from the DL, was next on the kick Barry Zito's Ass Train.

The Cubs rattled off nine straight victories (my cousins in Chicago jump for joy; I watched a few of the games with them, and the Cubs look like they have some good stuff going except Pinella can't get any quality starts)

The A's and Tigers walked 22 times in a game (OH MY GOD HOW LONG DID THAT TAKE?)

Bill Hall continues to b**** (although I can't blame him too much).
