Honestly, this guy has to be one of the most underrated players in the MLB. He isn't that great defensively, but this guy hits. Every year for the past five seasons, he has hit .300 with at least 200 hits. That's pretty amazing. Very few have done it. Will he hit 3,000? Maybe. He's 31 and has a little more than 1,300 hits, so he'll need to average about 150 hits for the next ten seasons, or about 200 hits over the next eight (depending on how long he wants to play). Will he hit in 57 straight? I doubt it.
