
I like reading Ken Rosenthal's articles because he's a smart guy. In his article about Geovany Soto, I realized something interesting. As Rosenthal keeps trying to give Koyie Hill some credit for helping Soto get motivated, Soto keeps saying that Hill really didn't help. Henry Blanco was actually his biggest motivator. Things like this make me wonder why people write these kinds of articles. He's trying to write a nice article about Soto getting his act together, but at the same time, it makes Soto seem ungrateful for Hill's help. One on side, Rosenthal is giving a reasonable argument as to why Hill is a big difference in Soto's career, but then, Soto doesn't seem all that grateful for Hill's help. Sometimes these articles just make the players look worse than they did before the article.
