Well, at first, signing Sidney Ponson seemed like a bad idea. He was a drunk, a lazy worker, and a bad teammate. Yet, he came to Texas and seemed to change. He was 4-1 qith a 3.88 ERA in his time in Texas since April 26, when he was called up. Unfortunately, he started acting up again by disrespecting teammates and clubhouse personnel. Now, let's see. Ponson disrespects people and gets DFA'd. Barry Bonds disrespects people and becomes the face of a franchise, a league, a sport, and well ... a scandal (but that doesn't count because he was a jerk before the scandal. It's funny how talent gets one a few more excuses than not being a superstar. Oh well, at least Ponson can go back to drinking now.
